Rijiju's blunt words to the opposition: Warned not to cross 'Laxman Rekha' in Parliament, said - do not speak the language of Pakistan

Posted on 28th Jul 2025 12:27 pm by rohit kumar

Before the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha today, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju appealed to the opposition not to cross the Laxman Rekha during the discussion in the Lok Sabha. He said that the opposition should speak thoughtfully during the discussion on Operation Sindoor so that Pakistan cannot use the statements of opposition leaders in its interest.

Opposition should not speak the language of Pakistan.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju warned the opposition on the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha today and said 'I request the opposition, especially the Congress, not to do anything that harms India's interests and not to speak the language of Pakistan. We have to be careful... we have to maintain the dignity of the Indian Armed Forces. Congress and the opposition should not say anything that harms national interests. Whatever they say against India is used by the Pakistanis and the external enemies of India.

Congress's counterattack on Kiren Rijiju's statement

At the same time, Congress MP Renuka Chaudhary retaliated against the statement of the Union Minister. He said that now Rijiju will teach us what we should say and what not in the interest of the country. MP Chaudhary further said that first, he should control the tongues of his party leaders and himself.

'When Raavan crossed the Laxman Rekha, Lanka was burnt'

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has warned Pakistan that when it crossed the red line (border) drawn by India, the terrorist hideouts were destroyed. Rijiju wrote on the social media platform X that when Raavan crossed the Laxman Rekha, Lanka was burnt. When Pakistan crossed the border of India, its terrorist camps were destroyed.

Operation Sindoor to be discussed in Lok Sabha.

Today, the Lok Sabha is to discuss the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir and then Operation Sindoor launched by the Indian Army in May in response to it. 16 hours have been set aside to discuss Operation Sindoor and the Pahalgam terrorist attack. In such a situation, the Parliament is expected to be uproarious today.

Political storm due to Chidambaram's statement

Just before the debate on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, a statement by Congress leader and former Home Minister P. Chidambaram created a political storm. In an interview, Chidambaram raised questions about the Pahalgam terror attack 'Did the terrorists involved in the attack come from Pakistan? Is there evidence of this?' He also said that there could be domestic terrorists involved in the attack. P. Chidambaram said in the interview that the government is not making it clear what the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has done after the attack. After this statement, the BJP strongly attacked the Congress and accused it of always siding with the enemies and giving a clean chit to Pakistan. Chidambaram also accused the government of hiding the losses incurred during Operation Sindoor. Chidambaram said that 'Both sides suffer losses in a war. Britain disclosed its losses daily in World War I. India should also do the same. The government is hiding everything.'
