New Delhi, March 23 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday paid homage to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 84th death anniversary.
"Salute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day," Kejriwal tweeted.
Born in September 1907, Bhagat Singh, one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement, was hanged on March 23, 1931 along with Rajguru and Sukhdev in a Lahore prison.
Their last rites were performed in Hussainiwala in Punjab.
