On the other hand, protests were held by political parties and various social organizations against this incident across the state including Kolkata. Slogans of 'We want justice' were raised.
All three were accused and a security guard was arrested.
A former student of Law College, who is said to be a Trinamool Congress worker, along with two senior students, committed this crime in the room of the security personnel of the institute on the night of 25 June. All three accused and a security guard have been arrested in this incident.
