Lok Sabha Election: Nomination for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections from today, voting will be held on 88 seats on April 26.

The Election Commission will issue a notification today for the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections. With this, the enrollment process will start. Candidates will be able to file their nominations from today. In the second phase, voting will be held on 88 seats in 12 states and union territories on April 26. In this phase, voting will be held on eight seats of UP including Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Bulandshahr. Apart from this, voting will also be held on 13 assembly seats in a part of Outer Manipur Lok Sabha seat in the same phase.

 

Let us tell you, the process of filing nominations for the second phase will continue till April 4 and the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on April 5. Scrutiny of papers in Jammu and Kashmir will be held on 6th April. Nominations can be withdrawn till April 8.

 

 

Lok Sabha program

First phase: Voting will be held on 102 seats in 21 states and union territories on April 19.

Second phase: Voting will be held on 89 seats in 13 states and union territories on April 26.

Third phase: Voting will be held in 94 constituencies of 12 states and union territories on May 7.

Fourth phase: Voting will be held in 96 constituencies across 10 states on May 13.

Fifth phase: Voting will be held on 49 seats in eight states and union territories on May 20.

Sixth phase: Voting will be held on 57 seats in seven states and union territories on May 25.

Seventh phase: Voting will be held on 57 seats in eight states and union territories on June 1.

 

By-elections will also be held on 26 seats in 13 states.

Along with the Lok Sabha elections, voting will also be held for 26 assembly seats in 13 states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, and Gujarat. Voting for by-elections will be held on the same dates as Lok Sabha elections in the respective states. Among these, Himachal has a maximum of six seats, Gujarat has five, and Uttar Pradesh has four.
