At the same time, PM Modi held a series of rallies in Bengal since the announcement of elections on March 16. With two election rallies on Tuesday, this number has reached 18. The PM held a 2.5 km long road show in North Kolkata. It remains to be seen how much the BJP benefits from the PM's rallies. However, political analysts believe that the PM held so many rallies as part of a strategy and the BJP has got a psychological advantage from it and will continue to do so.
Four rallies even before the announcement of the elections
The BJP has been focusing on Bengal since the 2021 assembly elections. Then the BJP had put in all its strength. Taking the same formula forward, PM Modi held four big rallies in Arambagh, Krishnanagar South, Siliguri, and Barasat even before the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections.
