Prime Minister Narendra Modi owns movable assets worth Rs 3.02 crore. He has Rs 52,920 in cash. In the last five years, the Prime Minister has filed income tax returns worth Rs 84 lakh. The Prime Minister has neither taken any loan nor owes anything to anyone. There is not a single criminal case against him.


 

Prime Minister Modi, 73, a native of Someshwar Tenements, Ranip, Ahmedabad, passed the Master of Arts examination from Gujarat University in 1983. The Prime Minister's source of income is the salary from the PMO and interest from the bank. He has Rs 73,304 in his account in SBI's Gandhinagar branch and Rs 7000 in his Varanasi account.


 

There is an FD worth Rs 2 crore 85 lakh 60 thousand 338 in his name in the State Bank of India. The Prime Minister has a National Savings Certificate worth Rs 9,12,398. He has four 45-gram gold rings worth Rs 2,67,750.


 

Rs 3,33,179 have been received from TDS returns in the year 2023-24. The Prime Minister does not own agricultural or residential land. He does not have his own residential house and does not own a single personal vehicle.


 

Movable property increased in five years

The prime minister's movable assets have doubled in the last five years. According to the affidavit of the year 2019, the Prime Minister had movable assets worth Rs 1 crore 41 lakh 36 thousand 120. According to the affidavit this time, he has movable assets worth Rs 3 crore 2 lakh 6 thousand 889. In the year 2019, the Prime Minister also had a 3531 square feet plot worth Rs 1 crore 10 lakh in Gandhinagar. He had donated that plot for the establishment of the Nadabrahma Art Center in March last.
