Devotees from the country and abroad arriving at Prayagraj Maha Kumbh are also flocking to other religious places in the state. Since the Makar Sankranti bath, a large number of devotees have reached Shringaverpur, Chitrakoot, Varanasi, Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, Naimisharanya and Ayodhya for darshan and worship. In the last three days, more than 26 lakh devotees reached these religious places. At the same time, so far more than seven crore devotees have bathed and worshipped in the Maha Kumbh.
In three days, 10 lakh devotees visited Ayodhya, 7.41 lakh in Kashi Vishwanath temple, 5 lakh in Vindhyavasini Dham, one lakh in Naimisharanya Dham Sitapur, one lakh in Chitrakoot and more than 1.5 lakh devotees visited Mathura-Vrindavan. In Ayodhya, a long queue of devotees is being seen for the darshan of Ramlala and Hanumangarhi. The same scene is seen in Chitrakoot, where the number of people doing parikrama in Kamadgiri has increased rapidly.
Mathura-Vrindavan has also become more vibrant due to the devotees coming to Maha Kumbh. Apart from a dozen buses, visitors are coming by train and private vehicles every day. The increasing crowd of devotees in these areas is promoting business and employment at the local level.
