How difficult was it to implement UCC in Uttarakhand?

Every year crores of devotees come here to participate in religious events at various places including Chardham, Haridwar, Neeb Karori. In such a situation, it becomes necessary that there should be no discrimination or inequality in the social structure here. The implementation of the UCC will strengthen the sense of equal rights and duties in society.
How is the Uniform Civil Code linked to Mahakumbh?
Mahakumbh is not just a religious event. It is a symbol of Indian culture, unity and harmony. The participation of crores of people in this event makes it clear that our culture recognizes unity in diversity. UCC will further strengthen this feeling. When there is a uniform law, every person will feel that he is an integral part of this country and this feeling is the soul of Maha Kumbh.
Will the implementation of UCC not affect the social fabric in the state?

Will the implementation of UCC affect religious freedom?
Not. The purpose of UCC is not to limit religious freedom but to strengthen it. It will ensure that every person gets rights without discrimination. Like the Maha Kumbh, where people worship in their way, the UCC will also promote the spirit of equality while maintaining personal freedom.
