Maharashtra CM Face: Who will be the CM face of Maharashtra? Different claims among the constituent parties of Mahayuti and MVA

Posted on 22nd Nov 2024 by rohit kumar

The question remains as to who will be the CM face in Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, both alliances are claiming that their government will be formed. The results of the 288-member assembly elections will be declared on November 23.

After the voting, Nana Patole said that the Congress-led MVA will form the government and the Congress will get the maximum number of seats. However, his claim may not have been liked by Shiv Sena-UBT, whose leader Sanjay Raut said on Thursday that the alliance partners will jointly decide on the face of the Chief Minister if they get a majority.

Sanjay Raut said that if the Congress high command has told Patole that he will be the CM, then party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra should also announce it.

Conflict among the constituents of Mahayuti over CM face?

On the other hand, Mahayuti has also claimed that its government will be formed. Most exit polls have indicated the formation of the Mahayuti government, while some have predicted the formation of the MVA government. Shiv Sena MLA and spokesperson Sanjay Shirsat in the Mahayuti said that the election was fought in the face of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Voters have expressed their choice for Shinde through voting. I think Shinde is right for the next CM and we hope that he will be the next CM.

Will NCP be the kingmaker?

BJP leader Praveen Darekar staked the claim of Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and said that if anyone from BJP becomes CM, it will be Devendra Fadnavis. NCP leader Amol Mitkari, while putting forward the name of Ajit Pawar, said that whatever the result, NCP will be the kingmaker.

When asked about the CM's face, Devendra Fadnavis said that the three parties of the Mahayuti will sit together and take a decision. BJP leader Darekar claimed that the Mahayuti government will be formed. He also claimed that the opposition alliance is troubled by internal differences. The people of Maharashtra have given a clear mandate and the CM will be from Mahayuti. Neither MVA nor Congress will have a CM.
