Today is Guru Purnima. The whole country is expressing the feeling of faith, dedication, and respect toward its guru. Meanwhile, something else is cooking in the politics of Maharashtra. Here the disciples of Balasaheb Thackeray have also clashed with each other regarding his education and initiation. Some are claiming to take his legacy forward and some are questioning loyalty.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had first made a tweet. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Raut tweeted his picture with Balasaheb and wrote, That Guru and that Gurur. After this, the tweet of Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde came and discord between the two came to the fore.

no idea except Hindutva

CM Eknath Shinde posted pictures of Balasaheb Thackeray and Anand Dighe on the occasion of Guru Purnima. He wrote in Marathi, "There is no deceit from Balasaheb's thoughts. This is not an extinguished ember, no idea other than Hindutva. Warm wishes on Guru Purnima. It is believed that this tweet of Shinde is a target on Uddhav Thackeray. Shinde is constantly accusing Uddhav of deviating from Hindutva.

Raut replied in his style

After Shinde's tweet, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut responded in his style. He said, some people leave Shiv Sena and say that Balasaheb is our guru. Had Balasaheb been alive, he would have answered such people in his style. He said Balasaheb was the guru of all of us. He was the mentor of all those who are loyal to Shiv Sena, Maharashtra, and the country. Taking a jibe at Shinde, Raut said, his real gurudakshina is to keep allegiance to Balasaheb.
