The black controversy is deepening in West Bengal. The rhetoric continues between the opposition BJP and the ruling Trinamool Congress. Former Union Minister and Trinamool leader Babul Supriyo has targeted the BJP and said that in this controversy, she is sooting her face. She considers Bengalis to be fooled, so she could never understand them.
On Tuesday, senior Bengal BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, along with Hindu priests, met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and submitted a memorandum to him by presenting him with a picture of Maa Kali. In the memorandum, action has been demanded against those who say controversial things against Maa Kali. At the same time, pictures of Goddess Kali were seen in many BJP programs in Bengal. The BJP leaders also met Presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu and presented her with a picture of the goddess. Union Minister Smriti Irani offered prayers at Kali Mandir.
BJP doing childish acts
Former BJP leader Babul Supriyo has come under severe criticism for fueling the Kali controversy. He said that the BJP could never understand Bengalis as it considers them to be fooled. She is getting a black vessel on her face by doing childish acts. It is shameful that Raj Bhavan was made a platform for such shameful acts. Supriyo said these things by tweeting after Suvendu Adhikari gave a memorandum to the Governor demanding action against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra. On the memorandum, Governor Dhankhar said that he would take action as per rules.
On the other hand, on BJP leader Amit Malviya's tweet, Trinamool leader Saugata Roy said that the party has already condemned Mahua Moitra's statement, it does not need to take lessons from the BJP. Canada-based film director Leena Manimekalai recently released a poster of the documentary film 'Kaali'. In this, a woman wearing the form of Goddess Kali was shown smoking a cigarette. There was a ruckus when a news channel program Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra supported her and said that she is a worshiper of the Mother Kali who eats meat and accepts alcohol. This is how the Goddess is worshiped in many Shaktipeeths. After Moitra's statement, a case has been registered against her in many states.
