In the cabinet, 21 ministers from the BJP quota can join the cabinet, while the Shinde faction can get 12 ministerial posts. 2 ministerial posts will go to other smaller allies. On June 30, Eknath Shinde took oath as the Chief Minister.

The BJP may keep big portfolios like home, finance, and revenue, while the urban development and road construction portfolios may be given to the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena.
