Manohar talks to Haryana Roadways driver in UP, a police officer suspended

Chandigarh Taking cognizance of a driver of Haryana Roadways, Chief Minister Manohar Lal spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The driver accused Uttar Pradesh police officers and employees of assaulting him. When the matter reached the Chief Minister, he spoke to the Uttar Pradesh government, after which the police officers of Uttar Pradesh were stirred. The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended a police officer.

 

 

Taking cognizance of the complaint of Khurshid, the driver of Palwal depot, Chief Minister Manohar Lal apprised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of the incident and urged action against the police personnel who beat him up. High officials of Uttar Pradesh Police had sent several photographs to Khurshid to identify the police officers and employees involved in the assault. Khurshid could not recognize the accused when the darkness of the incident was too dark. After this, the Lucknow Police Commissioner took information from Khurshid about the spot on the mobile and the beating.

 

 

Driver Khurshid said that the policeman who beat him on the way to Gorakhpur had two stars on his uniform. After this, the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Barabanki also spoke to the driver on mobile. On the statement of driver Khurshid, the Uttar Pradesh government identified and suspended the accused police officer. Director General of Haryana Transport Department Virendra Dahiya has confirmed the suspension of the Uttar Pradesh Police officer. He said that on the night of March 29, at about 12 o'clock, the Uttar Pradesh Police employees beat the driver Khurshid at Barabanki Chowk. An officer and five police personnel are said to be involved in the assault.
