In the 54th match of IPL 2023, Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets in a thrilling match. With this win, the Mumbai team has moved to the third position in the points table. MI captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Bangalore scored 199 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. Virat Kohli's wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also reached out to watch this match. His reactions during the match are becoming quite viral.

 

Kohli could not do anything special in this match and got out after scoring just one run. Anuj Rawat also scored just six runs and Mahipal Lomror scored one run. Captain Faf Duplessis scored 65 runs in 41 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes and Glenn Maxwell scored 68 runs in 33 balls with the help of eight fours and four sixes. After this Dinesh Karthik came to bat and played an inning of 30 runs in 18 balls with the help of four fours and a six.

 

At one point, when Karthik was batting on 14, Mumbai's star all-rounder Cameron Green dropped a simple catch of Karthik. Mumbai's captain Rohit got angry with this, but this incident brought a smile to Anushka's face. The ball hit Cameron's hands and was scattered. Anushka looked worried as Dinesh played the lofted shot, but as soon as Cameron Green dropped the catch, Anushka jumped out of her seat in joy and started shaking hands with the rest of the RCB supporters who were next to her. Its video is becoming quite viral.

 

However, the target of 200 runs was achieved in Mumbai losing four wickets in 16.3 overs. Ishaan Kishan played a stormy inning of 42 runs in 21 balls with the help of four fours and four sixes. Captain Rohit failed once again and got out after scoring just seven runs. After this, Suryakumar rained fours and sixes in Wankhede. He played a stormy inning of 83 runs in 35 balls with the help of seven fours and six sixes. Apart from this, Nehal Wadhera scored his second consecutive half-century. He remained unbeaten on 52 runs in 34 balls with the help of four fours and three sixes. In the points table, the Mumbai team is third with 12 points from 11 matches and Royal Challengers Bangalore is seventh with 10 points from the same number of matches.
