Covid-19 New Variant: The worldwide devastation caused by the coronavirus has completely changed the lives of all of us. For some time, even though cases of this terrible infection are coming less, this virus is still present among us. Recently, a new variant of it named Eris was revealed, after which now once again a new strain of Corona has emerged. The World Health Organization (WHO) is currently monitoring a new COVID-19 variant, which has multiple mutations.
At present, due to this variant in Denmark, Israel, and America, there has been a spurt in the cases of corona. This variant, named BA2.86, is being called the 'variant of monitoring' because of the extent of spread and the drastic change in spike structure. Currently, XBB.2.3, XBB.1.9.2, XBB.1.9.1, XBB, CH.1.1, and BA.2.75 are included in WHO's 'Variants to Monitor' list. Let us know about some of the major symptoms of corona-
Fever
The most common sign of any viral infection is Covid patients experience fever. However, its severity may vary from patient to patient.
Cough
A persistent and bothersome cough is also experienced with this new type of corona.
headache and body aches
Experiencing severe body pain in the back, shoulder, etc. is common in Corona. Many people suffering from this may also experience headaches.
Tiredness
This is a common sign of corona, which is also seen with this strain, but its severity can vary from person to person.
stomach upset
Abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting are some of the symptoms which are commonly seen in corona patients.
blocked nose
A person suffering from corona often complains of a blocked nose, due to which breathing becomes difficult and the person also feels a lot of discomfort.
sore throat
The feeling of something stuck in the throat, pain, scratch, burning sensation, difficulty in swallowing, etc. can also be symptoms of corona.
loss of appetite
Due to corona infection, a person may often feel less appetite or may experience loss of taste and smell.
