India created history on Wednesday evening by landing a spacecraft on the south pole of the Moon. India became the first country to do so. It may be noted that the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) made a successful soft landing of Space Craft on the South Pole of the Moon on Wednesday. India launched Chandrayaan-2 on 14 July. The objective of this mission is to find water on the Moon. While the entire nation celebrated Chandrayaan's success, Mumbai Indians took the internet by storm by sharing pictures of the failed Chandrayaan-2 and defeating the ODI World Cup in 2019.
