More than four months are left for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, but the war between the ruling BJP and the opposition parties has already broken out here. Under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Yogi, BJP has set such a political agenda that the opponents are unable to find the cut of their strategy even after wanting to. In this situation, the opposition has once again become dependent on 'soft Hindutva' politics. Opposition parties are now doing the same for which they used to attack BJP. Mamta Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal also showed this by winning their respective elections and now Mayawati is on the same path along with Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav. However, the question remains whether the other three leaders will be able to sail like Mamata and Kejriwal.
Priyanka praises Durga by applying Tripund Tilak
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi reached Banaras on Sunday and blew the bugle for the UP assembly elections. She went straight from the airport to the Kashi Vishwanath temple where Priyanka reached the Kushmanda temple after offering prayers. During her rally in Kashi, Priyanka wore Tripund Tilkar. Along with this, she was seen wearing Tulsi, Rudraksha, and Mauli around her neck. In her speech, Priyanka also told that she has fasted and started the speech with 'Jai Mata Di'.
Mayawati promised not to stop the work of Ayodhya-Mathura and Kashi
BSP supremo Mayawati has put her strategy for the UP assembly elections in front of the public. During this, Mayawati said that if her government is formed in the state, then the ongoing development works in Kashi, Mathura, and Ayodhya will not be stopped even after the elections. Not only this, some time back BSP had organized a Brahmin convention, where party general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra worshiped Ram Lalla.
Akhilesh's 'Temple Run' continues
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav continues to go from one temple to another in the state. Akhilesh also took a dip in the Sangam river during the Magh Mela. Apart from this, after taking a dip in Bharat Koop, he also offered prayers at the temple in Chitrakoot. During his visit to Mirzapur, Akhilesh worshiped Mother Vindhyavasini and also visited Kashi Vishwanath temple in Kashi. Akhilesh has also announced that after the construction of the Ram temple is completed, he will go there with his entire family. Akhilesh has also installed a 51 feet tall statue of Lord Krishna in Saifai.
Mamta-Kejriwal increased courage?
In the West Bengal assembly elections, the BJP did not keep any lacuna in its Hindutva agenda. The slogan 'Jai Shri Ram' was used a lot against Mamta Banerjee. At the same time, in response to this, Mamta Banerjee also recited Chandi and sometimes went to the temple. Not only this, during the election campaign, Mamta even said that she is the daughter of a Hindu and BJP should not teach her Hindutva.
Before Mamata, the BJP had the same strategy during the Delhi elections and in response, Arvind Kejriwal was also seen going to the Hanuman temple. The Aam Aadmi Party even got the recitation of Sundarkand done, after which the BJP was left behind in the Delhi elections.
