Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke to the doctors and health workers of Kashi regarding the Corona crisis. During this he became emotional. He said - This virus has taken away many of our loved ones from us. I pay tribute to all those people, expressing my condolences to their family members. During this discussion, Modi also described Black Fungus as a new challenge.

 

Modi said, 'I, as a servant of Kashi, thank every Kashiwasi. Especially the work done by our doctors, nurses, and other health workers is commendable. In the second wave of Corona, we have to fight together on many fronts. '

1. Now our focus should be on saving the villages of Purvanchal

Modi said that this time the infection rate is many times higher than before, patients have to stay in the hospital for more days. This has put pressure on our health system. We have succeeded in controlling Covid in Varanasi, but for now, our focus should be on saving the villages of Kashi and Purvanchal.

 

2. Were sick, the new mantra of treatment

PM Modi gave a new mantra during this period. He said that now we have to follow the mantra of 'where sick, there is treatment'. Along with this, we have also seen the safety of the vaccine in the second wave of Corona, due to which our frontline workers have been able to serve people by staying safe to a large extent. This security guard will reach every person in times to come. We must get the vaccine done when our turn comes.

During the Corona era, PM Modi has interacted with the people and officers of Varanasi for the 7th time. 4 doctors and 100 health care workers participated in this discussion. During this, Varanasi commissioner Deepak Aggarwal gave a presentation of the work of Covid and Non-Covid Hospital. Along with this, the report of Covid Management was also presented.

 

Earlier on April 18, Modi spoke to the Varanasi officials. Modi also visited Varanasi once on 30 November 2020, between Corona.

 

PM can implement the Varanasi model in other districts

Modi also praised the Varanasi model a day before in preventing the Corona infection. His parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, had an infection rate of 36.1% on 15 April. But now it is down to just 4.1%. In such a situation, sources say that the Prime Minister can talk of implementing the Varanasi model of corona control in other districts as well.
