Monsoon will reach Delhi on June 30 or July 1. Normally, the monsoon rains started in the capital on June 27. At the same time, the Meteorological Department says that the Southwest Monsoon will cover the entire of North India by July 6.
The Meteorological Department said, 'According to the forecast, rain may occur in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Jammu, and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi in the next 48 hours as well. Due to the increased humidity for the past few days, people were troubled by the sultry heat. The maximum temperature was recorded in the range of 41 to 42 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be pre-monsoon rains in the capital on Wednesday, which will give relief to the people from the heat.
The Meteorological Department says that the temperature will drop from July 1. Last year, the Meteorological Department had predicted the arrival of the monsoon in Delhi on June 27 but it had arrived on July 13. Monsoon had knocked with the most delay in 19 years. Scientists say that it is normal to move around five days from the date of prediction. According to the data, in the last 62 years, monsoon has come 29 times in June and 33 times in July.
According to the Meteorological Department, the conditions for the advance of the Monsoon are favorable and Monsoon can cover a large area in the next 24 hours. It includes parts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Haryana. It rained today in many districts including Ara in Bihar. The Meteorological Department says that it is pre-monsoon rain.
