On Monday, Elon Musk, the world's richest man, bought Twitter. This deal has been done for $ 44 billion i.e. Rs 3.37 lakh crore. The Musk-Twitter deal is the third biggest deal ever in the tech world. Earlier, Microsoft recently made its biggest deal in the gaming sector with Candy Crush game maker Activision Blizzard.

Let us tell you that the biggest deal in the tech world has happened recently. Under this, Bill Gates's Microsoft has approved the purchase of CandyCrush video game maker Activision Blizzard for $ 68.7 billion (Rs 5.14 lakh crore). This is the biggest deal in Microsoft's 46-year history. Activision Blizzard's game lineup includes Call of Duty, Candy Crush, Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, and Hearthstone. With this deal, Microsoft will get about 400 million monthly gaming users of Activision. Under the deal, Microsoft will pay Activision $95 per share.

 

 

Dell-EMC deal at number two

 

Second, on the list is the 2015 Dell and EMC deal. Dell Inc completed a $67 billion (Rs 5.12 lakh crore) deal to acquire EMC Corp. This has made the world's largest privately-controlled technology company into existence. The new company Dell Technologies includes Dell, Dell EMC, Pivotal, RSA, SecureWorks, VirtualStream, and VMware.

 

Avago Tech buys Broadcom

 

At number four comes the deal between Avago Technology and chipmaker Broadcom. This deal was done in 2015. The deal was valued at $37 billion (Rs 2.8 lakh crore). The combined company is now known as Broadcom but does business as Avago. It has become one of the largest suppliers of semiconductor and infrastructure software products in the US.

 

This agreement on a fifth-sixth number

 

In this list of the biggest deals in the tech world, chipmaker AMD and Geelinks deal come at number five. This deal worth $ 35 billion i.e. Rs 2.6 lakh crore was done in October 2020, while talking about the sixth big deal in this list, then comes the IBM and RedHat deal. In July 2019, the world's leading IT company IBM bought software maker RedHat for Rs 2.34 lakh crore.
