Weather Update: The feeling of cold started due to rain at some places and snowfall at some places, update from Delhi-Uttarakhand and other states.

Due to rain in many states of the country and the first snowfall of the season in the hilly states, the feeling of cold has started. Due to rain and strong winds in many states including the capital Delhi yesterday, a slight cold has started being felt in the morning and evening. However, dry weather is being seen throughout the day.

 

Talking about Wednesday, the weather remained clear in most areas including Delhi, there was sunshine, although there was heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Madhya Pradesh. If we talk about Thursday, the weather is likely to remain dry. Talking about the weather in Mumbai, Mumbai is on cyclone alert! The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning regarding weather changes in Maharashtra city due to a possible cyclonic storm developing in the Arabian Sea.

 

IMD has said that there is a low-pressure area in the south-east of the Arabian Sea, which may turn into a 'severe' cyclone in the next two-three days. Due to the cyclone, there may be rainfall along with strong winds in Mumbai, Goa, Pune, and surrounding areas.

 

Light to moderate rain occurred in many places

During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred over Lakshadweep, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, parts of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Konkan and Goa. At the same time, light to moderate rain and snowfall occurred in Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, light rain occurred in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka, Sikkim, Assam and Rajasthan.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

 

Continuous changes are being seen in the temperature of Delhi. While the temperature had dropped by four degrees due to the rain the previous day, the temperature once again increased on Wednesday but the weather remains cool. The temperature in Delhi increased by four degrees on Wednesday and reached 30.7 degrees.

 

Regarding the capital Delhi, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be drizzle in some areas on October 22. Apart from this, a drop in minimum temperature can be seen. According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 31 to 32 degrees for the next five days.

 

People started feeling mild cold in Bihar and Punjab

The weather of the entire Bihar including Patna is likely to remain generally dry. The effect of fog is being seen in most parts of the state in the morning. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a decline in the temperature of the state including Patna after the next two days. People in Patna will feel slightly cold in the morning and evening. Talking about the weather of Punjab, cold is being felt in the morning and evening in Punjab. Due to sunshine in most of the districts of Punjab, the day temperature is likely to increase by one to two degrees Celsius.

 

Cold increased due to snowfall in hilly states

The first snowfall of this season is being seen in many areas in Himachal Pradesh, due to which a drop in temperature has been recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, the winter season may last longer in the state.

 

Talking about the weather of Jammu, according to the Meteorological Department, winter conditions will persist due to snowfall in the upper areas, but mainly the weather is likely to remain dry and "hot". The weather department said the valley is expected to remain generally cloudy till October 22-23.
