When I received this news, I was overjoyed, not just because I was being honored, but because I was chosen to carry forward our cinematic voice. Honestly, I never even dreamed of this moment."
Mohanlal was chosen by the selection committee for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023 this year for his continued presence in South Indian films for over four decades.
