The Deol family is going through one of the most emotional moments of their lives. Dharmendra, a pillar of the family and a legend of the Deol clan, passed away on November 24th. His screen presence and six-decade-long career brought immense fame, leaving a void in Bollywood.

To pay tribute to him, the family held a prayer vigil in Bandra, Mumbai, dubbed "Celebration of Life." Many Bollywood celebrities and family members were present. However, Dharmendra's second wife, Hema Malini, and his daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol, were absent.

They held separate prayer vigils.

The vigil was held at Taj Land in Mumbai by Dharmendra's first wife, Prakash Kaur, and sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. According to an NDTV report, the event was organised entirely by the senior Deol family, and Hema Malini was not a part of it. This has led to speculation that separate prayer meetings were held for both families. Although Hema Malini did not attend the prayer meeting organised by Prakash Kaur and the Deol family, many Bollywood celebrities did.

Many Bollywood celebrities were present.

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Siddharth Malhotra, Rajat Bedi, Shabana Azmi, Divya Dutta, Mukesh Khanna, Sonu Sood, Jaya Prada, Ameesha Patel, and other celebrities attended the prayer meeting. Singer Sonu Nigam also attended the event and sang some of the late actor Dharmendra's favorite songs in tribute to him.

Hema Malini also held a prayer meeting to pay tribute. Two priests were seen outside her house. Her cousin Madhu was also present. Many stars, including Boney Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhary, Sunita Ahuja, and Yashvardhan Ahuja, later visited her home. Apart from this, Hema had made many emotional posts for the actor during the day.
