National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a major update regarding the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) examination. NTA has postponed the CUET-UG exam scheduled to be held on May 15 at the Delhi center due to unavoidable reasons. The examination in Delhi will now be held on 29th May. For this, revised admit cards will be issued to the candidates.
NTA said in a statement that all concerned candidates and stakeholders are being informed that the test papers (Chemistry- 306, Biology- 304, English- 101, and General Test) will be issued only for the candidates appearing in the centers across Delhi. - 501) have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. Earlier this examination was scheduled on 15 May 2024.
It further added that the exam to be held on May 15 will be conducted in all cities across the country including Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Noida. NTA said that the examinations scheduled on other dates (May 16, 17, and 18) will be conducted as per the schedule at all the centers including Delhi.
Earlier, NTA had activated the CUET Admit Download direct link for the examinations to be held from May 15 to 18 at Exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in 380 cities, including 26 cities outside India. This year, a total of 261 universities will accept CUET UG 2024 scores for admission. CUET UG 2024 will consist of 63 test papers. The duration of the paper for specific subjects and general examination will be 60 minutes, for the rest of the papers it is 45 minutes.
