Nepal floods: Due to incessant rains in the Sindhupalchok district of Nepal, landslides, and floods have claimed 11 lives. At the same time, 25 people are reported missing. One Indian and two Chinese nationals are among the dead. The three deceased are foreign nationals and they were working for a Chinese company.

According to the district administration, the three deceased were working as laborers in an ongoing development project in the area. The bodies of the deceased were recovered near Melmachi town in the district. The area was engulfed by flash floods on Wednesday. District officer Baburam Khanal told Reuters that the three deceased were foreign nationals and were working for a Chinese company that is working on a drinking water project. Nepal's Ministry of Home Affairs confirmed late Thursday that 25 people are missing in the floods that ravaged Sindhupalchok, a mountainous district bordering China's Tibet region, and other parts of the country. Significantly, the monsoon rains in Nepal usually start in June and last till the end of September. According to statistics, thousands of people die in Nepal every year during the rainy months.

According to the information, a thick layer of water and mud has formed in Melamchi. Due to which the traffic on the road has been disrupted. According to officials, about 200 houses in the area have been damaged. Some have been partially and some have been completely damaged. According to aid agencies, this year due to the crisis, the social and economic crisis in the country can increase.
