North Korea has tested a ballistic missile on Tuesday morning. Monitoring stations in South Korea and Japan confirmed the incident and said that the missile landed directly in the sea. This test is considered quite shocking by North Korea because a few hours ago, Pyongyang's representative to the United Nations had clearly warned that his country has full authority to test weapons.
The United Nations has banned North Korea from testing its ballistic missiles due to allegations of possessing nuclear weapons. Despite this, his representative justified his tests before the UN, and a few hours later South Korea and Japan also confirmed another test.
According to South Korean officials, North Korea fired a missile from Jagang province at 6.40 am, which fell into the North East Sea. Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said the missile fired by North Korea was ballistic. He told that he has increased vigilance to monitor North Korea.
The UN has also held an emergency meeting on North Korea's missile testing
This was the third missile test by North Korea in September. Earlier, a cruise missile and two ballistic missiles that could be carried on trains were also tested by Pyongyang under the leadership of dictator Kim Jong-un.
Significantly, a week ago, the UN called an emergency meeting expressing concern over North Korea's testing of ballistic missiles. It also warned North Korea to stop missile tests. However, in the meantime, there is a continuous violation of UN rules on his part.
