Oscars 2024: Who showed their talent at the Oscars this year, know who won the award?

The 96th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California. In India, it aired on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar from 4 am on March 11. Oppenheimer-Poor Things showed dominance

Poor Things and Oppenheimer were seen at the Oscar ceremony. Christopher Nolan's film received nominations in 13 categories and Poor Things in a total of 11 categories, out of which it won many awards.

Cord Jefferson has received the Oscar Award for Adapted Screenplay for the film 'American Fiction'. The film won this award leaving behind Barbie, Oppenheimer, Poor Things, and The Zone of Interest. At the same time, the Best Original Screenplay award for 'Anatomy of a Fall' was given to Justin Treat. 'The Boy and the Heron' won the Best Animated Picture. Apart from this, 'War is Ours' won the award in the category of Best Animated Short Film.

 

Robert Downey Jr also won the award

Da'Vine Joy Randolph won Best Supporting Actress for 'The Holdovers'. At the same time, Robert Downey Jr. received the Best Supporting Actor Award for Oppenheimer. His competition in this category is Sterling K. Brown - American Fiction, Robert De Niro - Killers of the Flower Moon, Ryan Gosling - Barbie, and Mark Ruffalo - Poor Things. Nisha Pahuja's documentary To Kill a Tiger was left behind in the race. '20 Days in Mariupol' received the Best Documentary Award. Oppenheimer won awards for cinematography and original score. Whereas, Barbie was given the award for Original Song.
