Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday that mild negligence in the festival and cold weather can be heavy. In this season, cases of infection may increase. At such times, all have to be cautious
He also updated the Corona vaccine. Said, different vaccine trials are currently underway in Phase-1, Phase-2, Phase-3. Its results are yet to come. Therefore, the Central Government has not yet taken any decision according to which emergency use of vaccines can be started.
Cold breath patients start growing
Dr. Harsh Vardhan directly interacted with the people in his 5th Sunday Dialogue program through social media. He said- SARS Cov 2 is a respiratory virus and such a virus is known to grow in cold weather. Respiratory viruses are more susceptible to cold weather and low humidity conditions.
He said - People gather more in residential areas during the winter season. This may increase matters. Hence in the Indian context, it would not be wrong to assume that the number of cases may increase during the winter season. Dr. Harsh Vardhan gave the example of Britain. There was an increase in cases of coronavirus during the cold season.
Health Minister said-
No religion or God of the world says that you should celebrate the festival by risking the lives of the people. To win the war against Corona, we have to take PM Modi's mass movement seriously.
You can take this as my warning or advice, but if we were negligent during the festivals, Corona would become huge again. So I would say that during the festivals, there are two yards and masks must follow the rules of necessity. Instead of going out, stay home and celebrate the family festival.
A high committee team of scientists is working on the corona vaccine in the country. The vaccine is expected to be available domestically by July next year. The focus of the government will be to make the vaccine available to all. Initially, it will be given to the needier.
