Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced a risk cover of Rs 10 lakh to employees working in the state's container for corona infection. CM has also announced a life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh for all accredited and accredited media personnel by June 30. The Chief Minister has announced to postpone the payment of all the board-corporations and authorities on March 15 and all outstanding dues thereafter till May 15. For this period, a 50 percent discount will be given on interest on all such payments. It has also announced exemption in rent of buildings and shops of Panchayati Raj institutions and urban local bodies, 25 percent discount in fixed charge for industrial and commercial electricity consumers.

CM said, the benefit of life insurance of Rs 50 lakhs announced for Covid-19 by the central government to all doctors, nurses and employees of Group 'C' and 'D' posted in Covid Isolation Wards, Covid ICU and Covid Oties across the state. will be given. He said that all media persons, whether accredited or accredited, would be given the benefit of life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh against Covid-19 by 30 June.

Similarly, all government employees working in the Containment Zone - Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, policemen and sanitation workers will also be provided life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh by June 30. All startups operated in the Startup Incubator Center run by the Department of Information Technology will not be hired from March 15 to May 15. Commercial vehicles such as auto, motor cab, maxi cab, bus and truck will be given proportional exemption of motor vehicle tax for the period of 15 March to 15 May.

 

Relief to electricity consumers

It has now been decided to give a rebate of 25 percent to electricity consumers whose monthly fix charge is more than Rs 40,000. The remaining 75 percent of the monthly fix charge will be recovered in six equal installments from July to December 2020. This benefit will be given only to those whose consumption is less than 50 percent of the average for the months of January and February. Manohar Lal said that a notification was issued on 9 April 2020, in which the payment made by any person or institution to the departments, boards and corporations of the government till 15 March 2020 was postponed till 30 April 2020. Contract period will increase in departments
