CM said, the benefit of life insurance of Rs 50 lakhs announced for Covid-19 by the central government to all doctors, nurses and employees of Group 'C' and 'D' posted in Covid Isolation Wards, Covid ICU and Covid Oties across the state. will be given. He said that all media persons, whether accredited or accredited, would be given the benefit of life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh against Covid-19 by 30 June.
Similarly, all government employees working in the Containment Zone - Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, policemen and sanitation workers will also be provided life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh by June 30.
