Petrol-Diesel Price: Petrol in Maharashtra becomes cheaper by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 3, Shinde cabinet reduced VAT

Petrol and diesel have become cheaper in Maharashtra. Petrol prices have been cut by Rs 5 while diesel prices have been cut by Rs 3. A decision has been taken in the cabinet of the Maharashtra government to make petrol and diesel cheaper. Common people will benefit from this decision of the government.

 

Let us tell you that the new government of Eknath Shinde had already expressed its intention to increase the price of petrol and diesel in the state. Now the government has approved this decision in the cabinet meeting.

 

It is worth noting that the Center had reduced the prices of petrol and diesel about one and a half months ago. The Center had reduced excise duty by Rs 8 and Rs 6 on petrol and diesel, respectively. After this, the Maharashtra government also decided to reduce the prices of petrol and diesel.

 

Let us tell you that at present, the price of petrol in Mumbai on Thursday (July 14) is Rs 111.35 / liter. But now it will be reduced to Rs 106.35 / liter. Similarly, diesel is currently priced at Rs 97.28/liter in Mumbai. From now on it will be available at the rate of Rs 94.28 / liter.
