PM Modi in India Energy Week Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 in Bengaluru today. The event is being organized to showcase India's growing strides in the field of green energy. Ministers and heads of state of 34 countries will participate in the program. It will bring together over 30,000 delegates, 1,000 exhibitors, and 500 speakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of India's energy future.

 

The program will be organized from 6 to 8 February

India Energy Week 2023 will be held from 6 to 8 February. The PM said that he would visit Bengaluru today to participate in the India Energy Week and later visit Tumakuru to launch major development works and lay the foundation stones of various projects.

The event will bring together leaders from the conventional and non-conventional energy industry, governments, and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities that save the environment. During the event, the Prime Minister will participate in a round table interaction with global oil and gas CEOs. He will also launch several initiatives in the field of green energy.

 

Green Mobility Rally will be flagged off, 'unbottled' uniform will also be launched

Prime Minister Modi will also flag off the Green Mobility Rally. The rally will witness the participation of vehicles running on green energy sources and will help in creating public awareness for green fuel. PM will also launch uniforms under Indian Oil's 'Unbottled' initiative. Explain that to phase out single-use plastic, Indian Oil has adopted recycled polyester (RPET) and cotton uniforms for LPG delivery personnel. Each set of this uniform is made with approximately 28 recycled bottles.
