Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Pongal festival at the residence of Union Minister of State L. Murugan in New Delhi on Wednesday. He also performed cow worship (Gau Seva). PM Modi stated that Pongal teaches people that gratitude towards nature should not be limited to mere words, but should be made a part of our daily lives.

When this earth gives us so much, it is our responsibility to cherish it. Keeping the soil healthy, conserving water, and using resources judiciously are most important for the next generation.
