New revelations are emerging daily in the firing incident at the home of renowned Bollywood director Rohit Shetty. The Mumbai Crime Branch is continuously investigating the case. Twelve accused have been arrested so far. Now, the Mumbai Crime Branch has uncovered new information in this case. According to this, Shubham Lonkar and accused Vishnu Kushwaha recruited and brainwashed the other shooters.
Brainwashing was done with the lure of money
The Mumbai Crime Branch states that the accused Vishnu Kushwaha, arrested in Uttar Pradesh, recruited all the accused and lured them with a substantial sum of money. According to information received by the Crime Branch, Shubham Lonkar, the mastermind of the firing, carried out the incident in collaboration with accused Vishnu Kushwaha.
Furthermore, Vishnu recruited and brainwashed the other accused, including shooters Deepak Sharma, Sunny Kumar, and Sonu Kumar. According to the information revealed, Vishnu lured the accused with big promises of Hindutva and religion and lakhs of rupees.
The Crime Branch suspects that shooter Deepak Sharma received pistol training before the shooting. However, teams from the Crime Branch and the UP Special Task Force (STF) are continuously investigating and gathering evidence to determine where and where this training occurred.
Vishnoi targets unemployed youth for the gang
The investigation revealed that Shubham Lonkar sent money to Vishnu.
Vishnu later recruited the accused, promising them substantial payments after the job was completed.
The investigation revealed that Vishnu Kushwaha has been working for the Bishnoi gang in the state for the past few years.
According to the Crime Branch, members of the Bishnoi gang target unemployed youth to carry out the crime and lure them with the promise of substantial payments.
In this case, Vishnu selected six accused from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
They were already influenced by the Bishnoi gang and used to post reels of pistols and guns on social media.
The shooters knew who the target was.
A Crime Branch official stated that the seven accused arrested from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh knew the target.
After the shooting at Rohit Shetty's house, when the shooter and his two accomplices arrived in Agra and Noida, the accused Jatin and Vishal, who provided them shelter, also knew that they had fired at Rohit Shetty's house.
All the accused kept their phones switched off during the incident.
This is why it took so long for the police to locate the location.
