PM Modi: PM will address the meeting of Home Ministers, Home Secretaries, and DGP, and will discuss internal security

After the Diwali festival, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Chintan Shivir of Home Ministers and DGPs of the states through video conferencing on Friday. The PMO said that this program will be held at Surajkund in Haryana on October 27 and 28.

 

 

State Home Secretaries, Director Generals of Central Armed Police Forces, and Central Police Organizations will also participate. The Prime Minister's Office said the 'Panch Prana' (Five Pledges) announced by Modi in his Independence Day speech is an attempt to provide a national perspective for policymaking on matters related to internal security.

 

 

Will discuss these issues

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold discussions with officials on issues such as the modernization of police forces, cyber crime management, increasing use of IT in the criminal justice system, land border management, coastal security, women's security, and drug trafficking, among others.
