Pre-order of India's 160 crore Corona vaccine dose; Will cover 60% of the population

According to a global analysis, India has secured 160 crore doses. Experts are saying that it will cover 80 crore people i.e. 60% of our country's population. This will be enough to develop herd immunity.

At the same time, after that, the European Union has secured Dose 158 Crores and America has a little more than 100 Crores. According to America's Duke University Global Health Innovation Center, India has signed an agreement to buy 500 million doses of the Kovyshield vaccine at Oxford University-AstraZeneca. At the same time, India is going to get 100 crore doses from American company Novavax and 100 million doses of Sputnik V vaccine from Russia's Gamalaya Research Institute. Duke researchers said in the analysis that countries with manufacturing potential, such as India and Brazil, have gained a large number of market commitments from major vaccine candidates. That too before these candidates came to the vaccine market.

 

Poor countries completely dependent on WHO

 

According to Duke University's report, high-income countries have secured 380 million doses. Upper middle-income countries have secured 82.9 million doses and lower-middle-income countries have achieved 170 million doses. Researchers say that low-income countries have not made any direct deals. That is, 20% of the population is completely dependent on Kovacs. COVAX is an initiative of the World Health Organization, the Coalition for Endemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), and the International Vaccine Alliance Organization Gavi, which aims to make the COVID-19 vaccine available to governments and vaccine manufacturers as well as all countries.

Canada has booked 527% more vaccines than its population, while the UK has pre-booked 288%, Australia 266%, Chile 223%, European Union 199%, USA 169%, and Japan 115%. The reason for doing this is that even if a vaccine failed and could not reach the approval stage, the population should not be deprived of the vaccine. At the same time, the vaccine is seen reaching 60% of the population in India.

 

Vaccines should not be the authority of only a few rich countries
