South stylish superstar Allu Arjun got emotional when Pushpa 2 director Sukumar praised him at a pre-release event in Hyderabad. Sukumar said that when he started working on Pushpa, he did not have the entire story ready. Sukumar said, "I just narrated a few scenes, but Bunny's energy inspires me to compose. Pushpa has set a new benchmark and everyone involved had to reach that level."
Sukumar apologized to Allu Arjun for investing three years of his career in making this film. Sukumar further joked, "I can't trouble him so soon with Pushpa-3."
