The grandeur and devotion of the Jagannath Rath Yatra was seen across the country. On the occasion of the 148th Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached the Sri Jagannath Temple in the morning and participated in the Mangal Aarti. During this, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was also present and he also performed the ritual of pulling the chariot.
Amit Shah posted on social media on this occasion and wrote that participating in the Mangal Aarti at the Sri Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad on the auspicious festival of Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra is a divine and wonderful experience in itself. I worshiped Mahaprabhu Jagannath ji and prayed for the welfare and progress of the countrymen. Along with this, he described the Rath Yatra as a wonderful confluence of faith, culture and heritage.
A huge crowd of devotees was also seen in Puri.
On the other hand, a huge crowd gathered in Puri city of Odisha on the occasion of Jagannath Rath Yatra. Here a grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra was taken out. The three deities were taken to the Gundicha temple on chariots, where they stayed for a week. After that, they will be brought back to the Jagannath temple.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi welcomed all the devotees and said that they should participate in the Rath Yatra with faith and devotion, have a divine darshan of Mahaprabhu, and get his blessings. He described the Rath Yatra as an important part of the state's culture and identity.

There was a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the Rath Yatra. At the same time, extensive security arrangements were also made. Police force was deployed from Puri to Ahmedabad and the traffic system was kept in order so that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience.
