The issue of the teaser of 'Pushpa 2' getting less than half the views as compared to the superhit films of South cinema which are making waves in North India, now seems to be bringing a new color. The first song ‘Pushparaj’ of the film ‘Pushpa 2’ has also not been able to establish its color. Although the release of the film is still far away, the producers of the film 'Pushpa 2' have started facing stress due to the failure of the film in its initial glimpses. Now the investigation has started as to why and how the promotion of the film 'Pushpa 2' is weakening in North India.
After Rohit Shetty's multi-starrer film 'Singham Again' got postponed from the release date of 15th August, it was believed that the first glimpse of 'Pushpa The Rule', the sequel of Allu Arjun's superhit film 'Pushpa The Rise', would be a blast. Will do it. But, this could not happen. In the first 24 hours of the release of the teaser of the film 'Pushpa 2', it lost to 'KGF 2' and 'Salaar' in terms of views and this situation is said to be worrying. The teaser of 'Pushpa 2' remained at fifth position in terms of views in the first 24 hours and the main reason for this is believed to be the lack of proper publicity about this teaser in the Hindi belt states.
AA Films has taken the responsibility of releasing the film 'Pushpa 2' in Hindi-speaking states, for this a huge deal has also been finalized with the producers of the film. But, this deal is for an advance amount instead of a minimum amount (minimum guarantee). This deal of Rs 200 crore means that if the distributor does not earn so much in the respective regions, then the film producers will have to return the remaining amount after deducting the expenses from the fixed amount. The film 'Pushpa The Rise' had done business of around Rs 100 crore in the Hindi belt and in the same belt, the film 'Pushpa The Rule' will have to do business of at least Rs 400 crore to get the title of a hit.
As far as the teaser of the film 'Pushpa 2' i.e. 'Pushpa The Rule' is concerned, it has failed to get the expected buzz in the first 24 hours of its release. This teaser was seen by only about four crore people in this period whereas Prabhas's film 'Salaar' got about 8.25 crore views in the same period. In second place is the teaser of Prabhas's film 'Adipurush', which got around seven crore views in the first 24 hours of its release. The teaser of actor Yash's film 'KGF 2' is at the third position with a little less than seven crore views, while the teaser of Prabhas' film 'Radheshyam' was at the fourth position with about 4.25 crore views.
In this respect, the teaser of the film 'Pushpa 2' not only remained at number five as per the views received in the first 24 hours of its release, but this teaser also did not live up to the expectations of the audience. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 500 crore. In this sense, this film of director Sukumar will have to take an opening of at least Rs 100 crore on the first day of its release, including all the languages. But, looking at the way the promotion of the film is going on in the Hindi belt, it seems difficult for this to happen. There is no big face of Hindi cinema in the film and this can become a big hindrance for it.
