Germany's Foreign Ministry spokesman said that 'we are expecting that in the case of Rahul Gandhi, the standards of judicial independence and fundamental democratic principles will apply.' After this statement from the Foreign Ministry of Germany, no reaction from the Indian Foreign Ministry has been revealed so far.

 

Rahul Gandhi's membership lost in defamation case

Please tell that in a case of defamation, Rahul Gandhi's parliament membership has been canceled. In the year 2019, while addressing a rally in Karnataka before the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi commented the Modi surname, after which a defamation case was filed against him. Recently, the court of Surat convicted Rahul Gandhi and sentenced him to two years. According to the law, after being sentenced to two years, Rahul Gandhi's parliament membership was canceled.
