This match was the last match of the Mumbai team, so the ban imposed on Hardik will now be completed in the first match of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. It was clearly stated in the official statement of IPL last year that Hardik will miss the first match of the next season for Mumbai Indians.

 

Now in the absence of Hardik, Rohit Sharma can be seen captaining Mumbai Indians. Apart from Rohit Sharma, the 5-time IPL champions team Mumbai Indians can also hand over the command of the team to Suryakumar Yadav. Surya can also replace Hardik.
