First the Shraddha Walker murder case in Delhi and now the Saraswati Vaidya murder case in Maharashtra has shocked the people and the society. Last day, a case of the brutal murder of a 32-year-old woman by her 56-year-old live-in partner came to light in the Thane Mira area of Mumbai. Now there is a shocking revelation in this matter.
According to the information, the accused claimed that he did not kill the woman, but the woman had already committed suicide. He was afraid that he would be held responsible for this. Because of this, he conspired to dispose of the dead body. When the police heard this during interrogation, they were also surprised.
Big disclosure in police interrogation
Vasai-Virar police said that Manoj Sane was arrested on the charges of murder of Saraswati Vaidya last day. After this, he was produced in Mira-Bhayander court, from where he was sent to police custody till June 16. During interrogation, the accused told the police that Saraswati Vaidya had committed suicide on June 3. He was afraid that he would be accused of her murder, so he decided to dispose of her body. He told the police that he cut Saraswati's body into pieces and boiled them in a pressure cooker to avoid the stench. He also told the police that he had decided to commit suicide. He doesn't even regret it.
Police do not trust the statement of the accused
The police are taking the investigation seriously to ascertain the veracity of the accused's claim that the deceased committed suicide. The body parts recovered from the house have been sent to JJ Hospital for postmortem. Police say they doubt the suicide claim of the accused.
What is the whole matter?
Earlier, while giving information about the matter on Thursday, DCP Jayant Bajbale said that the local police had received a complaint of foul smell from the flat. After this the police officers investigated. Investigation revealed that Manoj and Saraswati lived here in a live-in. When the police team reached the flat for investigation, the body parts of the deceased were found in pots and buckets. The name of the accused is Manoj Sane, he was arrested last night. It was also revealed that Manoj had bought a tree cutter with which he used to cut the woman into pieces and then he used to boil them in a cooker and stuff them in plastic bags.
A neighbor said - a foul smell like dead rats was coming from the flat
A neighbor of the accused in the case told that Saraswati and Manoj never used to come out on any festival. I didn't even know his name. We were smelling dead rats from the flat since Monday. After this, when I went to his house on Wednesday, he did not open the door. Later room fresheners were used. Later he was seen leaving with the bag. Then his body also smelled the same. After this we got suspicious.
