New Delhi, Jan 3 (IANS) It was a rainy Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 13.8 degrees Celsius, seven notches above the seasons's average.
The Met Office has forecast very light rainfall throughout the day.
"Thunderstorm could occur in some areas in the evening and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 17 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The city has received 7 mm of rainfall since Friday.
Visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 500 metres and humidity was 98 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature was 16 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average and the minimum temperature settled at 10.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
