Raipur Train Blast: Explosion in train at Raipur railway station, four CRPF personnel injured

Raipur Train Blast: There has been a blast in the capital of Chhattisgarh this morning. Four CRPF personnel have been injured in the accident. According to police, the igniter box of the CRPF special train exploded after falling on the floor at Raipur railway station. Four CRPF personnel have been injured in this blast. The incident took place at 6.30 am when the Jharsuguda to Jammu Tawi train was standing on the platform. A CRPF jawan and a head constable were admitted to Narayan Hospital in Raipur.

 

All the injured are undergoing treatment

 

According to preliminary information, the accident took place due to the fall of the igniter during shifting. At present, the treatment of all the injured jawans is going on in the private hospital. At the same time, the condition of one jawan is said to be serious. However, six jawans were reported to be injured before the railway officials confirmed it.

 

According to railway officials, a special train of CRPF was standing on platform number two, in which three companies were shifting, one box of igniter set during luggage loading and one box of SD cartridge which is used in tube launching, special during loading. The train lost its hand near the gate of bogie number nine, causing a small blast, injuring 4 jawans. The names of the injured jawans include Chavan Vikas Laxman, Ramesh Lal, Ravindra Kar, Sushil.
