Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that not only adequate financial resources are necessary to prepare for the war, but quick and transparent decisions are also necessary.

 

 

The Defense Minister said this at the Controllers Conference 2022 organized by the Defense Accounts Department. Rajnath Singh said that delay in taking decisions results in loss of time as well as money. It also hurts the war preparedness of the country. The Accounts Department of the Ministry of Defense plays an important role in taking quick and transparent decisions.

The Defense Minister said that resources are limited across the world. Economic understanding is essential in their use. Resources should be used in the right place and they should not be wasted at all. Rajnath Singh said, "You earn one rupee by saving a rupee" This is true in the case of resources. You know that war preparedness for a country requires not only the best resources available but also swift and transparent decision-making.
