Rajasthan Politics: Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra is about to reach Rajasthan, Gehlot, and Pilot seen together amid ruckus over 'traitor'

Posted on 29th Nov 2022 by rohit kumar

A Congress meeting was held in Jaipur on Tuesday (29th November) regarding Bharat Jodo Yatra. CM Ashok Gehlot was also present in this meeting along with Congress leader KC Venugopal. Sachin Pilot also reached the meeting about half an hour before Ashok Gehlot. This was the first time when Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot are seen together for the first time after the latest controversy.

CM Gehlot said in a conversation with the media that if Rahul Gandhi has called the leaders of the state assets, then they are. His followers are also an asset. Ashok Gehlot had called Sachin Pilot a traitor a few days ago and Rahul Gandhi refused to comment on this, calling Gehlot and Pilot the party's assets. Gehlot said that Bharat Jodo Yatra will turn out to be grand in Rajasthan.

"Great enthusiasm among people about the yatra"

The Chief Minister said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding the yatra. Rahul Gandhi has come out with the issues which are in the heart of the countrymen. This is a message for PM Modi and Amit Shah. Inflation and unemployment are increasing in the country, and violence is taking place, and this is not in the interest of the country. Our main issue is to win the election and we will show that by winning. Our thinking is positive, we do not think negatively.

When will Rahul visit Rajasthan?

Bharat Jodo Yatra is proposed to visit Rajasthan on 4th December. There can also be a change in the program of the journey for a day or two. Preparations have been completed in Rajasthan regarding Rahul Gandhi's visit and Congress has decided on the route chart.

Rahul Gandhi said this

In fact, on Monday (November 28) on the rift between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that both the leaders are very important for the Congress, and both are the asset of the party. He also claimed that this controversy will not affect his journey in Rajasthan and that the journey will be successful.

There has been a deadlock between Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and former deputy CM Sachin Pilot over the post of CM for a long time. Last Thursday, a statement by CM Ashok Gehlot had done the work of provoking this controversy.

Both veterans had made statements

Describing Sachin Pilot as a traitor, the Chief Minister had said that a traitor cannot become the Chief Minister. He betrayed the party by rebelling, he is a traitor. On this, Sachin Pilot also retaliated and advised the Chief Minister to avoid making such statements. The pilot had said that Ashok Gehlot is very experienced, and he should not use such words.
