When Rajpal Yadav was in jail in connection with a 9 crore rupee debt case, many celebrities helped him. Not only celebrities, but some children from a Gurukul even broke their piggy banks to help him.

During this difficult time for Rajpal Yadav, children from a Gurukul in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, helped him and even sent him a letter. But now, the children are very angry with the actor. For the first time, Rajpal Yadav has broken his silence on this matter.

Gurukul children are upset with Rajpal Yadav

In fact, after coming out of jail, Rajpal Yadav did not meet the children who helped him. This is why they are angry with the actor. Now, the actor has revealed that after leaving jail, he did not even get enough time to spend with his family.

Rajpal made this promise to the children

In a conversation with PTI, Rajpal Yadav said, "As far as meeting the children is concerned, I was told they were from an orphanage. In my opinion, if there's an orphanage, they're not orphans. I believe in the Guru tradition, and all those children are my own. I will definitely meet them, hug them, and take pictures with them."

Gurukul children helped with piggy bank money

According to school officials, about 40 students from the Gurukul Seva Trust filled a piggy bank with money saved from their pocket expenses and sent it by post to Rajpal's ancestral village address on February 21st as a gesture of support when he was imprisoned. The children also sent an emotional letter expressing their desire to meet him after his release.

Why was Rajpal Yadav jailed?

It's worth noting that Rajpal Yadav was jailed in a cheque-bounce case. However, he has been granted interim bail. He had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore for a film in 2010, which, due to non-payment, has now become Rs 9 crore with interest and penalty.
