The teams of Delhi and Bangalore, which are in great form, will clash on Thursday. The 24th match of IPL 2025 will be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. During this, Virat Kohli will face Mitchell Starc. Delhi has won all the three matches played so far, while RCB has tasted victory in three out of four matches. Both the teams are in first and third place respectively.

Delhi will have to be careful.

RCB won in Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai and the only defeat was at the hands of Gujarat Titans at Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, the reason for the defeat was not any shortcoming of the team, but the pitch of Chinnaswamy Stadium surprised it. At the same time, RCB will have to be careful against Delhi, which has won on different pitches like Visakhapatnam and Chennai. By the way, the spirits of the host team are high due to Virat's form.

There will be a clash between Virat and Starc.

However, Virat will have to overcome Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc and left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Kohli has scored 72 runs in 31 balls against Starc in T20 cricket. This season, Starc has taken nine wickets in three matches at an average of 11. A lot will depend on the clash between Starc and Kohli in the powerplay.

How will Virat's stance be against Kuldeep?

After this, he will face Kuldeep, who has taken six wickets at an economy rate of six. By the way, Kohli, who has overcome his weakness of playing high and sweep shots against spinners in T20 cricket, is performing very well. This is helping him to play freely against slow batsmen. However, Kuldeep has many arrows in his quiver and he can trouble any batsman.

Axar will face Patidar

RCB captain Rajat Patidar is also in form and he is an expert in playing spinners. In such a situation, Delhi Capitals will expect a more effective role from left-arm spinner Axar Patel. Captain Axar has bowled eight overs in three matches so far but has not been able to take a single wicket.

All eyes will be on Rahul and Du Plessis.

Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who handle the new ball for RCB, have been effective in the powerplay. They will have to rein in Delhi's experienced batsman KL Rahul, who is well aware of the conditions here. Rahul is now coming out to play very aggressively instead of staying for a long time, due to which he is proving to be very dangerous. Delhi will also be keeping an eye on the fitness of Faf Du Plessis, who could not play the last match against Chennai. If Du Plessis, who is aware of the conditions here, is fit, then RCB's new ball bowlers will have to make extra efforts.
