Indian-origin Hindu Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has taken over the power of Britain. Even though he may be the British Prime Minister, his religious roots are still associated with India. The leader of the Conservative Party has not only raised the honor of himself but also of India.

 

His image of being an Indian was also seen when he took over as the PM of the UK. As Rishi entered 10 Downing Street, every Indian's eyes were fixed on one thing. He was seen wearing the sacred red Hindu Kalava thread in his hand while delivering his first address as Prime Minister. This shows how proud Sanuk is of being a Hindu.

42-year-old Rishi Sunak created history as soon as he took over as the Prime Minister of Britain. He has become the first Hindu Prime Minister as well as the youngest Prime Minister. On Tuesday he met King Charles III and took the oath. Sunak in his speech said that his government will have integrity, professionalism, and accountability at every level.

 

Hindu Identity of Rishi Sunak

Rishi Sunak always projected the identity of being Indian. After the 2017 general elections, Sunak was sworn in as an MLA on the Hindu holy book Bhagavad Gita.

 

Sage Sunak proudly declared his Hindu identity. He had said that "I am now a citizen of Britain. But my religion is Hindu. My religious and cultural heritage is Indian. I proudly say that I am Hindu and my identity is also Hindu.

 

In August this year, sage Sunak visited a temple with his wife Akshata on Janmashtami. Rishi Sunak also posted his pictures on Instagram.

 

The Hindu MP is also very much liked by the Indians living in Britain. Once he did cow worship with his wife during the day. The couple was seen worshiping the cow and performing aarti.

 

Sage Sunak regularly visits the temple in Hampshire. According to a report in the Independent, the Vedic Society Hindu temple in Southampton was founded by Rishi Sunak's grandfather, Ramdas Sunak, in 1971 with his father Yash as a trustee.
