Russia has ordered 10 of its diplomats to leave the country in retaliation against the Baltic countries. Of these, three diplomats are from Estonia and Latvia, besides 4 diplomats from Lithuania. Information about this action has been given by the Russian Foreign Ministry statement on Tuesday. In the same month, three Baltic countries, Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania expelled 10 Russian diplomats. Lithuania expelled four Russian diplomats, while Latvia and Estonia also expelled three diplomats.

Latvia had said that the three countries have taken this decision in coordination. Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkeviks said that the action was taken after Russia attacked Ukraine. Apart from this, Estonia says that they have expelled Russian diplomats because they threaten our security. Estonia said that Russia is constantly attacking Ukraine and that its diplomats were spreading false propaganda. In such a situation, he had to be expelled from the country. Let us tell you that since the attack on Ukraine, Russia is being continuously sanctioned by Western countries.

Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia are countries affiliated with NATO and are among the critics of Russia. In such a situation, the reason for the confrontation of the three countries with Russia can be understood.
