Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, on a visit by top EU officials to Kyiv, said there was a need to impose tougher sanctions against Russia. Zelensky told European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, that Ukraine is ready to do whatever it takes to join the European Union. Ursula said that the union will fully help in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
